My One & Only!!!

It is hard to believe that 3 years ago today we were getting ready to met each other at the top of the isle. We have come so far since that day! You are not only my husband, but you are my best friend. You mean the world to me and I would not change a single day of the past 5 years with you. We have became closer by overcoming the obsticals in our way and having Wade has bonded us in a whole new unexpected way. You are an amazing father. I see his eyes light up when you enter the room! I am so proud of you and greatful for everything you do for us and our family. I love you with everything I have!!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Annie !!!

Alisal Guest Ranch

This weekend Jeremy, Wade and I went over to the Alisal Guest Ranch so Jeremy could do some work this week.  Jeremy's boss was nice enough to let us go over a few days early and enjoy some vacation time together out of town.  We had a blast hanging out at the pool and Wade really enjoyed the animals in the barn.He got to ride on the back of a little horse and feed some chickens! Jeremy also got to hold a bearded dragon. The animals were definitely the highlight of the trip. Wade was glued to every animal there trying to take it all in. The dinners were amazing as well. I could get used to getting all dressed up and having a delicious 3 course meal like that! We also went to a couple parks. Wade went down the slides and giggled up a storm! Jeremy and I both tried to take him down a few of the bigger slides and it just did not work....I think the slides are smaller than they use to be....   :) We really had a good time!

Wade thought it was more fun to climb up the slide than go down!

His shoes kept gripping to the plastic slide, so Daddy got the blanket to go down on!

This was at the second play ground near the waterfall in Solvang.We were going to hike to it, but we've already done that once before. Also the rocky terrain with a new walking toddler wasn't a good mix!

These are from our time at the barnyard. Wade got to feed chickens and ducks. And he got his 1st horse ride! Jeremy had fun holding the bearded dragon!

We needed to get out and stretch our legs a little, so in Cuyama we stopped and checked out there new play ground! I think this one was the best one all weekend!

Where's your.......?

Maybe it's just because he's my son, but Wade seems very smart for being 1 years old. He does quite a few baby sign language signs such as: more, all done, clapping, again, sign, dog, ball and phone. He cant exactly sign these but he completly understands what they mean if I do them without saying the word. They are: milk, mommy, daddy, Grandma, Grandpa, AJuncle, horse, frog, cookie, cracker, car, swim, swing, pajamas, sleep and I am sure there more but I cant think of them. But NOW he has mastered finding his ear, mouth, head, and toes! It is super cute!! We are working on nose and eye. He can find them on our face but him pointing them out on his own face is a bit more challenging.

CHILD LABOR - Train Them When They're Young!!!!

Jeremy was starting to vaccum the other day (like a good husband!, jk) and Wade was very intreged by the loud contraption. He was following Jeremy all around the living room trying to get the vaccum. Jeremy was a little nervous when Wade got so close to it because he didn't want to run his little toes over! But it didn't even faze Wade, he just wanted to get his grubby hands on what I could tell he thought would be a fun toy!!! And I wasn't going to stop him....chores cant come soon enough! And besides isn't that why we have children....so they can clean up after us!?! (It's a joke people.....He shouldn't have to clean up after us till he's.... at least 5 years old!)

HMMMM.....It's the weekend.......What shall we do???

OK, this blog has taken just under a week to upload the pictures!!! Last weekend Jeremy and I decided Friday night to head up to Fresno and go to the zoo. I have not been there in years, but I knew it was a small zoo and really cheap to get in! We could probably make it through the whole thing between naps. So we timed it just right and Wade slept all the way up and all the way back. We had a really good time spending the day together! Wade saw a lot of cool animals, since just about all of them were out and about. And he walked all around the zoo pointing to this and that! It was so cute!!! There are entirely too many pictures below to write a little something about each photo and my spacing would get all messed up, so here is how our trip went. Enjoy!!!
