Rubber Duckie !!!!!
So today I realized that Wade has not had a bath yet. He really doesnt do much to get messy so its not that big of a deal.... plus his STUMP hasnt fallen off yet. Jeremy and I thought that the best time to TRY the bath would be after he had fed. So we got him nice and full in hopes that he would sleep through it or at least make it easier. HA that idea was out the window as soon as that wash cloth touched his skin. We got the disposable pre-soaped wash cloths at the shower and use one of those for his body and a little wash cloth for his face and head. He actually did pretty well and recovered, I think pretty fast. Anywho, here are a couple of pictures of the FIRST BATH TIME !!!

Wade Saw the Doctor, and the Doctor Said.....
OK here's the short version. Real name have been withheld to protect the innocent and also cause I can't spell them all.
We saw a very nice Doctor in the hospital when Wade was born. He was the Kaiser Ped on call and were initially nervous because we had received other recommendations from our OB doctor and friends. We could not have been more impressed him and all the time he spent talking with us and addressing any concerns we had. He was very gentle and patient

Erica and I talking about it and we both agreed that despite the other recommendations we had received that we found our pediatrician. Or so we thought.
We called first thing Monday morning and wouldn't you guess, our doctor's panel was closed and he wasn't accepting new patients. Same thing for the other top 2 Peds on our short list of those recommended. We settled on Dr. number 3, but she was out of the office for the week and we were forced to see one of her colleagues until she returned.
Wouldn't you know we like the Doctor we ultimately saw almost as well as the one we saw in the hospital.
The Nurse failed to get my sorry excuse for humor when I suggested that she be the one he could pee on when she made us take off his diaper. He was measures and weighed and we answered all the same questions that had been asked a million times before: When was he born? Where was he born? How was he born? How big was he? How much did he weigh? Was he full term? You'd think they could coordinate a little better, or at least learn to read our chart.
The Doctor was just a patient and gentle as the Hospital Doctor. We talked about our problems with low poop counts and a little dehydration but he explained it was due to Erica's milk coming in still and her being in a transition period with less to give. He also spent extra time talking with us about the circumcision and we scheduled him to perform the procedure on Friday at 10:45am. We were very encouraged and the Doctor seemed satisfied with Wade's progress.
He is a little Jaundice and that is to be expected. Normal anyways but complicated for Wade by the bruise he had on the back of his head from being pushed out. Doctor said as long as he kept feeding and pooping we should be OK. If things don't go so well he suggested we try a little pedialyte to get him over the hump. One of the things that pleased us the most was he also encouraged us to express and supplement him with more milk rather than just jump to the pedialyte or a formula supplement.

Special Delivery
Hercules was going nuts, I was holding a fussy baby and Erica didn't really know what to do. I signed with one hand while she tried to take the flower only to find out they weigh like 40lbs. and are way beyond anything she should be touching until she has a chance to recover some more.
I passed the baby off to her and moved the potted house plant with fresh cut flowers into the house. When the flowers fade we have a nice little ficus tree that can grow right along side Wade, if Erica doesn't kill it first. The picture does not do it justice.
Thanks you Diamond for your thought and support while we grow as a family. It means alot to know you are behind us.

Doing Great! My Baby Loves Breast Milk!
Mom and Baby are doing Great! We are still perfecting the breast feeding and he really doesn't like his diaper being changed but things couldn't be going better.
Thank you to everyone that has supported us! It means alot to us that everyone was there. Even the peanut gallery that sat in the corner and watched, too afraid to make a peep! Wow, That was awkward! Thanks for being there anyways.
We could both use some more sleep but aren't exhausted or overwhelmed yet. We can't wait to settle in and show him off to eveyone.

Any Suggestions?
Well, I am looking for ANY suggestions from all the mommies out there! Any suggestions or tips that you have figured out or heard to help bring on labor. I feel like I am at a stand still with my pregnancy, and the closer and closer I get to my due date the more and more I do not want to be induced. Mostly because I am already a somewhat of a higher risk for complications due to previous female issues. So, this is what we have tried thus far: Walking(everyday for long periods of time..... sometimes more that once), driving on a bumpy road, Spicy food, Swimming laps, cleaning windows and mopping floors, sex, squating(which I could do more of), nipple stimulation and visualization. If there is ANYTHING else anyone could recommend trying, my ears are wide open!! Thanks!!!

Doctors Appointment 2-n-1
So I've been kinda lazy about updating this. But to keep you all informed, my appointment week before last, week 37 went ok. Since week 35 my pregnancy feels like its been at a stand still, yet i keep getting bigger and bigger! So during the appointment Dr. Chueng listened to the heartbeat and measured me. And everything was good in those areas. She also checked me and said that my cervix was softening good, but was still to high up to strip any membranes. She suggested to keep walking and doing natural inducing methods.
Since, I am so far along I am now seeing the doctor every week. So during my appointment in week 38 it was exactly the same as the week before. I'm effacing but still too high up to strip any membranes. One thing good was the nurse that has been with me at the doctors up until this point hates being in pictures. She has said numorous times to make sure she's not in any of the pictures. But finally she took one with me. Thats is as exciting as this appointment got!!! WooHoo!
