Wade v. Mommy's Quad
This blog should of been posted 2 weeks ago, but who is counting.
Jeremy and I were talking about the quad and thought we should go start it since it's been more than a year and a half that I have road it. Not by choice, doctors orders since I was pregnant. Anyway, we took Wade outside to watch the "event". He has heard the sound of a running quad before but it was quite muffled. So this was going to be the first real time Wade has heard or seen a running quad. I think Jeremy and I both thought he was going to freak out and cry because they are a little loud. But he liked it!!!!
He wasn't too sure of it at first.
Then daddy showed him it was OK and fun! But he had to hold on!!
After a minute or two he got the hang of it!

NOBODY PUTS BABY IN A CORNER !!!!!!!!
For my birthday this year my mom and Aunt Laura took me to see Dirty Dancing on stage!!!! It was fantastic!! They tried telling my that we were just going shopping in Beverly Hills and to get all dressed up! Well, me being the BRILLIANT detective that I am......I figured it out! Anyway, for two weeks prior I started pumping and storing milk so dad would have plenty for the whole day. Which you all know.....Wade likes to EAT!!
This is us all dolled up and on our way......."shopping"!
This is my "SHOCKED/EXCITED" face, being that I just found out where we REALLY were going!!!
The Pantages Theater
We were not supposed to take pictures or video even with the flash off. Which I was told once to put my camera away and not take any pictures. But you know me and following the rules! So this is what I was able to capture with the camera in my lap and the flash off. This is of the celling inside and the entire theater was just as detailed! It was gorgeous!!
After the show we made our way down Hollywood Blvd a few blocks to Mann's Chinese Theater to people watch, look at some stars on the walk-of-fame, actually do a little bit of shopping and dinner. While people watching there were so many impersonators right outside of Mann's Chinese Theater.

REMEMBER THIS IS HOLLYWOOD.......
PS-Spidys crotch was a little to close for comfort!
Professor Dumbledore
This crazy killer with a hockey mask. And after he scared this lady I think he heard me say that would freak me out! And he turned to me and got super close and put his hockey mask right on my shoulder. I was FREAKING OUT!I went to see if he was still there and then I screamed sooooo loud!!!!
Davy Jones and Jack SparrowPS-there was at least 10 "Jack Sparrow's" in the whole 2 blocks!
yeah, that's the Hollywood sign!
Thank you to my mom and Aunt Laura for the day! I know it was $$$costly$$$, it was so much fun! We don't get to do that sort of thing enough. But as good as the play was, nothing will EVER beat the original movie!
And he can put me in a corner ANYTIME!!!!

Great Grandpa Frank Comes to Visit
Last week Wade got to meet another relative!!! He met his Great Grandpa Frank for the first time! Grandpa Frank planned to visit for a little less than a week before returning to St. Louis. We went out to eat a few times and just enjoyed each others company while he was here. It was very nice to see the four generations (Grandpa Frank, Donna, Jeremy, Wade) together, after all it doesn't happen that often! So we spent as much time together as we could!! Friday night we had dinner at Woolgrower's. Here is Wade waiting patiently for his cereal....no basque food for him yet!
Saturday we hung out at home for a little bit, Donna and Grandpa Frank went to visit Grandma Dorothy, then we met up for dinner at Rosa's Italian food!!!!
For Donna to see her mom and dad together again, reminiscing and rejoicing, it was more than she expected! But all was well again after 3 .....maybe 4 glasses of wine!!! (Even I lost track!) It was nice to see "Nonna" to let loose, relax, and enjoy the evening sharing a bunch of memories after such an eventful afternoon!

Sunday we had a very yummy breakfast made by Jeremy "The Chef"! Then we went to get Wade a few new toys and a little pool that his Great Grandpa Frank bought!
Wade thought by getting into Grandpa's suit case he might stay longer!!!
Monday before Grandpa Frank left we had lunch at IN-N-OUT !
Then Wade and I made our way up to see Grandma Dorothy once again before Grandpa Frank left town! I really wanted to take the opportunity to take some pictures of Wade's Great Grandparents from his daddy's side!!!

It was the sweetest thing I think I have ever seen! Grandma Dororthy and Grandpa Frank both still so sweet for each other, even after all these years!!!!

My Very Own Swiming Pool
Thank-you Grandpa Frank for the Wade sized Swimming Pool. Nonna had the idea and grandpa insisted on paying.

Wade loves the water and of course a swimming pool just his size was no exception. He had a blast until Mommy discovered swarm of ants from the hill we must have put the pool on top of. Anyone who knows Erica knows Erica DOES NOT do ants!
