Long Beach Aquarium

Last Saturday we had the urge to get out of town and do something! Wade loves anything to do with water....so we decided to go to the Long Beach Aquarium! Saturday morning we got up, packed snacks, went to the carwash, got some breakfast and were on our way. We timed it good as usual and Wade napped almost the whole way! Besides making a wrong turn on the last stretch of the freeway, the trip went really smoothly and was fun!!! Wade even saw one of his little friends!.....Popular little guy!!!

Day 3 of Swim Lessons

This past Thursday was Wade 3rd time going to swim lessons. He is getting better and better with every week!!! It is really kind of amazing to see him improve and learn new things!

These are called Motor Boats, it is getting them use to being in the water without having to be held by mommy!

Day 2 of Swim Lessons

This last week Mimi went with us to swim class and took pictures! Now you can see what Wade is learning in his 30 minute session. It's not just splashing!!!

They are learning to kick and paddle over to the edge of the pool, reach up and over to knock down the foam turtle.

Purpose: Learning to get to the edge and reach for the side!

In this exersice they push off the wall and learn to float of there backs!
