"The Test" Appointment

I had a doctors appointment the other day that my mom with with me too. At this particular appointment they had to do the strepB test aka BUTT TEST. Man, was that akward!!!! (to say the least) Thus far all the test that i have taken have been negitive, hopefully the same with this butt test. The funny part was after the nurse practictioner got done with the test she said that my body was fighting it and didnt want anything to go "in". I said well YA, usually that is an exit only and usually would be a good thing that my body was fighting it...... she totally did not get it. my mom and i just looked at each other and laughed. Anyways here are some pics.

In case he comes early

Well the past week or two we have been getting things ready just in case he decided to come early. We went bought the car seat and stroller, packed our bags for the hospital, got a birthing ball, got our cord blood kit and made our birth plan. Everything is kinda in place for the big event. once again we are just WAITING on the kid to get here.

Just Waiting on a Baby!!

A bit ago we got done with the nursery!!! Wow, was it a project. At first it was major headache to find fun, bright boy bedding. Finally I came across the perfect bedding, it was bright, fun, and left alot to be added because of the colors and animals in it. After we ordered the bedding mom, laura and myself went to the infamous IKEA! (Where else?) We got alot of fun things to go in the room. Once the bedding came in it was time to paint!!! I chose to have the room done in a light yellow with contrasting yellow stripes on the bottom 1/3 of the walls with a chair rail dividing the two. Me being a preggo I could paint, but mom and Jeremy we ready to get the job done...... so they thought. First we cleared out the room & then we taped off the room (this is were my help ended). They then got started painting. It was all good at first, but when they got to the stripes it was such a headache. Finally it got finished after 5 days, then it was just waiting on the furniture to be delivered and then putting all our goodies up and together. Here are some pictures of the finished product. Now were are just waiting for our little guy to use it!!

SEX and the City!!!

Last night was a girls nite out. Jennifer, Jill, Laura, Kurston and I went and saw Sex and the City. Before the movie started it was someones bright idea to meet at 2pm when the movie did not start till 4:10pm. I think we were a little over zellis! But there where no worries Jill pulled the pregnancy/diabetic act and got us inside where we sat and inhaled some yummy buttery popcorn. It was soooo good. Trying to kill some time we made ourselves a part of HSM3. Then it was off to get our seats and Jill almost had a "confrontation" with some crazy (oil)dale'ns that brought their LITTLE kids. We made a line in front of the theater inside and the cleaning guys were inside cleaning and they tried to walk by us to go inside. Well, JILLANUS was not about to let those BIOTCHS by!!! GO JILL. But as for the movie it was really good. Of course me and my emotional self cried a bit and we all laughed. Here are pic. of before the movie and after at dinner!!

3D/4D

This past weekend Jeremy and I had our second appointment at Baby Sightings, our 3D/4D ultrasound. Like last time we had family there. It was really neat to see Wade "up close". In the begining he was cooporating but about half way through he turned and it was kind of hard for the tech to get a good picture.And yes, its still a boy. Enjoy!!

Stagecoach 2008!!!

This past weekend the adults in the family (plus the one in the oven) went on our annual Stagecoach Country Music Festival trip. The weekend was long and hot. There was about 40,000 people at the event there to watch over 40 singers and bands. It was alot of fun, but being pregnant made it more of a challenge this year.
