Pumpkin Carving 2009

As we do every year, we carved our pumpkins at Mimi and Papa's. We all decided to do free handed carvings this year! We always stress over getting the perfect print out stencil for our pumpkins and it takes all the fun out of the evening. While we were carving our pumpkins Wade watched Singing Time and played. I think all of our pumpkins turned out great tis year!!!

The Pumpkin Patch 2009

I know it has been a few weeks since I have posted, but we really haven't done anything new. Just living day to day, however it does seem like everyother day Wade is signing something new! He has begun to sign please, thank you, and cracker. And he is starting to say dog, diaper, bath, ball, and nite-nite! However tonight we did go to the pumpkin patch! The same place we have been going since AJ was in preschool.....but this year it is PACKED....everytime we drive by the parking spots are full! But we had a fun time! We picked out pumpkins, took some pictures of Wade checking out the rows and rows of them, him trying to push the cart, and looked at the animals! Now we just have to carve them....this year should be interesting with a 14 month old!!!

Kern County Fair 2009.....The Best in the West

Tuesday night Jeremy, Wade, Donna, and myself went to the fair. Jeremy got tickets and a parking pass from his client Holiday Ford. We planned ahead of time to eat dinner at home due to the South Beach Diet that we are on. Jeremy and I haven't been in 3 years and Donna said it had been at least 15 since she had been. So we all were pretty jazed to go. After dinner and changing clothes because it was unexpectedly chilly out, we were off to the fair!

It was so super dusty while we were there. This is what the view looked like from the back enterance. Ewwww.....

Since it was so dusty we made our way off the main street and stopped to watch some chicken races! It was pretty funny!

Then we made our way over to the animals where Wade got to look at the goats, rabbits, chickens, baby chicks, pigs, llamas and cows!!!

There was some really wierd lady that caught Wade's attention and his eyes were glued to her. So she moved to stand behind me so I could take the picture!

I think the flash scared the cow!

When we were done with the animals we wanted to get out of the dust and wind so we went to walk around the exhibits. Wade felt like such a big boy walking around all by himself.....with us CLOSE behind!

He didn't know what was going on???

Leave it to my child to find the food in an exhibit!yummmy fruit!!!

Just walking with daddy!

EAR!!!

As we were walking out we got to the Carrousel and Nonna thought that Wade needed to have his first ride. It started out pretty fast and Nonna couldn't take the picture fast enough.....so we got the back of Wade's head!!! But Jerm and I are smiling!   :)

yah....Cheese!!!!!

Thank you Janice Smith from Holiday Ford for the tickets! We had a great time!!!
